Tom Bird
Tom works with organisations, teams and individuals to bring about sustainable and tangible improvements in performance in the areas of business development, coaching, communication and influence and leadership development.
Tom's career includes many years in senior key account and sales leadership roles as well as general management of UK / European high-tech businesses. This strategic and tactical business experience brings a pragmatic and empathic approach to his work with senior managers and leaders.
Over 50% of Toms work is with professional service firms including Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, Baker & Mackenzie, Turner & Townsend and Tods Murray. His clients in other sectors include Aviva plc, Toyota and IBM.
Examples of projects Tom has been involved with include:
- Design, development and delivery of mentoring and coaching skills development programmes for senior managers and directors (on a European basis)
- Creating modular leadership development programmes that combine workshops with MBTI, reflective learning and a business project to bring about both personal development and business benefit
- Working with teams and individuals around business development and key account management
Tom holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Coaching and Development from the University of Portsmouth.
